CALL FOR BROADCAST WORKS FOR NEW AMERICAN PUBLIC TELEVISION SERIES ON ECOLOGY AND THE ENVIRONMENT

MONTANA PUBLIC TELEVISION (KUSM) in cooperation with Filmmakers for Conservation has launched a prime time television series that features quality programs about ecology and the environment that might not otherwise find a broadcast venue because of its advocacy for environmental causes.

TERRA is committed to creating a regularly scheduled series that examines the life - and health - of our world. The series relies exclusively on the worldwide community of filmmakers who are committed to the cause of depicting the world as it is rather than as we wish it to be.

TERRA is looking for filmmakers who are willing to donate their material for broadcast on a non-exclusive basis. If you a program of any length up to 25:30 that examines, celebrates, or investigates our world - and if you have been stymied by the fact that traditional broadcasters have avoided your material because it doesn't fall within its traditional guidelines for "appropriate content," then you may want to join many others who have found a broadcast outlet that welcomes rather than shies from the true meaning of "reality" television.
