FFC Global Filmmaker Fund

Our panel of nine FFC judges is happy to announce that on Friday, April 29th the winners of the first FFC Global Filmmaker Fund were selected. The judges unanimously decided that both finalists are seeking completion funds for compelling films which fit our mission and both are strong projects in their own right. We therefore decided to allocate part of the FFC Fund to both filmmakers. The two grants for the FFC Global Filmmaker Fund will amount to a total of $5,000 cash, $10,000 in post production support from Spirit Creative (Washington, DC) as well as full marketing and distribution support from Wildlogic, LLC. We thank these sponsors for their generous donations, as well as the RSPB, private donations and all FFC members and friends who participated in last week's successful auction in Wash DC.

The winners of the 2005 Global Filmmaker Fund will be announced next week at the International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoula, Montana. Please stay tuned for more details.
