CEEweb for Biodiversity, Diverziti Association and Greenpeace Hungary invite all owners of cameras and other recording systems of the Earth from every nations to attend the second Green-Go International Short Film Contest and Festival (http://www.greengofest.eu/)!

The Short Film Categories are:

Energy (R)evolution in the International Year of Sustainable Energy for All
Film how fossil fuels endanger our future, show how energy efficiency and renewables can improve the life of society and communities all across the globe and picture how we should convince people to start understanding the change we need.

 

Let's Celebrate European Nature Together - 20th Anniversary of the Habitats Directive 
Show the World and European people how proud we can be of our nature and the services they provide (such as food, medicine, clean water, pollination). Explore what we can possibly face if we lose this diversity and how they create social and economical benefits. Knowing that European nature cannot exist without the global nature you can submit a film in this topic not only from Europe but from everywhere.

Explore Cultural and Biological Diversity - our Essence of Life 
Explore the link between cultural and biological diversity, endeavour to reveal the consequences we may face if we lose varieties and project a world without diversity to raise awareness on these issues!

The short film should be:

EITHER

  • A campaign film with maximum of 60 seconds showing wittily or shockingly one of the categories

OR

  • any other genre with a relevant environmental message with the length between 60 seconds and 8 minutes

AND

  • uploaded to Youtube/Vimeo in high resolution (at least 720px wide)

Awards: 

One award-winner in each category: 350 Euros (Altogether three times 350 Euros)
Public-award for one film based on the online public votes: 200 Euros
Videos fulfilling all criteria will be screened during the 2nd  International Green-Go Festival on 01. december, 2012 in Budapest, Hungary.
