Frozen Planet, The Last Lions, Life of Fire, My Life as a Turkey and Hippo: Nature's Wild Feast are leading the pack with the most nominations for this year's Wildscreen Panda Awards - the world's leading international wildlife TV and film awards. See the whole list here: http://www.wildscreenfestival.org/index.php?pageid=400&parentid=368

An impressive line-up of 59 productions have been nominated across 21 categories for our hotly-contested Panda Awards, which received a record-breaking 491 entries from 46 countries this year including new entries from as far afield as Egypt, Honduras, Madagascar, Mexico, Bermuda, Slovakia and Zambia.

This year's international nomination jury panel had the enjoyable but very difficult task of judging the highest number of films ever, often finding it challenging to select the top three productions due to the extremely high standard of entries. You can see the full list of nominated entries on our Panda Awards shortlist.

Take advantage of our early bird ticket offer for Wildscreen Festival (14-19th Oct) and buy your ticket for the Panda Awards ceremony at the same time! This year's awards ceremony takes place on Thursday 18th October at The Passenger Shed - Brunel's Old Station in Bristol, hosted by presenter, writer and adventurer Ben Fogle.

Hurry - our early bird offer is only available until midnight (GMT) 29th July 2012. Buy your ticket today! http://www2.seetickets.com/wildscreen/

See you in October!

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.

Get free downloads for Internet Explorer 7, including recommended updates as they become available. To download Internet Explorer 7 in the language of your choice, please visit the Internet Explorer 7 worldwide page.
