The International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City, DocsDF,  starts a new phase of consolidation and growth, incorporating new components that will situate Mexico City in the international scenario.

The Latin Side of the Doc is an event done thanks to the merger and coproduction between DocsDF and Sunny Side of the Doc, which is one of the most important markets in Europe and one of the most prestigious in the world with 22 years of experience and which will take place from November 7 to 9.

With this initiative DocsDF and Sunny Side of the Doc seek to build a solid platform for professionalization and market to the benefit of Latin American film industry and a meeting point with producers and distributors worldwide.

In order to invite all those interested in participating, we inform the calendar for the registration of projects and accreditations:
Projects submission to the Co-production Meeting: July 2 to August 3, 2012.
Projects submission to the Distribution Market: August 6 to August 31, 2012.
Accreditations: September 3 to October 31.

*** Submission forms will be available from July 2.

Rehearsing the Revolution

DocsDF, the International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City, celebrates the awaken youth, active and in motion.

For the past seven years, DocsDF has had the goal to create, promote and exhibit documentary films, as well as the training and professionalization of documentary makers. Our support to the #YoSoy132 movement can be shown within this context. Thus, we will have an online screening, from our DocsDF website, of the documentary Rehearsal for a Revolution, by Pedro Pablo Sara and Antonio Labajo, about the outraged from Spain, presenting a local example of a global revolution.

It is our intention to reflect the #YoSoy132 movement so it can inspire and encourage you to carry on.

Let's turn the TV off, and turn documentaries on!

Wait for it this weekend from DocsDF website: www.docsdf.org

From 00:00 hours of June Friday 8 to 24:00 hours of Monday 11 (Mexico's Time).

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.

Get free downloads for Internet Explorer 7, including recommended updates as they become available. To download Internet Explorer 7 in the language of your choice, please visit the Internet Explorer 7 worldwide page.
