Pozega (Serbia), from 7th to 25th August 2012During the camp 20 students of film production, directing, cinematography, sound design and editing from all over the world divided into 4 crews are going to shoot 4 documentaries on the theme "Arrivals / Departures".

Wildscreen is searching for the world's best wildlife and environmental films to compete in the celebrated Panda Awards. Whatever the budget, wherever the location, we are looking for the most interesting, innovative, exciting and the very best films about the natural world. Enter the competition now for a chance to win the highest accolade in the industry, with the winners being revealed at the glittering Gala Awards ceremony during the Festival week.

The final deadline for submission materials is Friday 27 April.

The 6th Annual Colorado Environmental Film Festival was a great success!

The sixth annual Colorado Environmental Film Festival (CEFF) was a great success this past weekend at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden.  We are pleased to announce the winners of the 6th annual CEFF Awards, which were presented by Hunter Lovins, Natural Capital Solutions, and renowned leader in the sustainability movement.   The Awards are beautiful engraved sculptures donated by local artist, Rik Sargent.

Science plays a profound role in our daily lives in ways that we can scarcely imagine, from the infinitesimal to the infinite. This year, to recognize media that best depicts the wonders of science to a broad audience, we are delighted to announce the inaugural Jackson Hole Science Media Awards!

Encouraging the development of compelling media that best translate the complexities of science to the public, the Awards will provide a forum to connect influential media professionals with leading scientists from around the world, and showcase finalists and award winners at the 2012 Symposium as well as other public and industry events.
