Film Production Co-ordinator

Based at RSPB
UK Headquarters, Sandy, Bedfordshire

Salary £23,000 to £26,000 per annum

Established Post - Full Time 37.5 hours per week

The RSPB needs an experienced Film Production Co-ordinator to join our award-winning Film Unit - a small team dedicated to the production of HD wildlife video content that promotes the Society's work and captures the spectacle of the natural world for distribution across all media platforms. Programmes vary from promotional online videos to support RSPB campaigns or appeals, to blue-chip conservation wildlife films for broadcast, DVD sales and presentation at major events. The successful applicant will need excellent project management skills, a good knowledge of content acquisition, licensing, sales & copyright law, contract employment law, compliance, and a keen appreciation of health and safety regulations, together with a genuine commitment to the principles of ethical filmmaking and environmental issues. You'll need to be familiar with HD file-based workflows and asset tracking databases, be well-organised, self-assured, positive, and a great team player with lots of initiative.
