GeoAmbiente is a television program dedicated to nature, environment and conservation topics. It is an educational media forum where scientists, governments, communities and students discuss environmental issues that affect us and propose solutions. Our program is aired on Sistema TV, Ana G. Mendéz Univeristy Channel in Puerto Rico(PBS affilliate).

Currently we are developing an episode on earthquakes and tsunamis. I am writing to verify if anynw in FFC has any footage on the recent event in Japan/Hawaii, or the events of Haiti and Chile about a year ago. If so, we respectfully request a copy for use, prefibily if in an HD format. Our main interest is any footage that can visually help us mention these last events. Even though GeoAmbiente is a 1/2 hr. weekly show with a very small budget we work it in a documentary style and we understand that this footage would be a crucial element to enrich the episode and help the tv audience have a better understanding.

If anyone in FFC could help us with this we would really appreciate it. Also, it is importante to mention that the footage would be identified as submitted by FFC or with the specific owners name and or company name. Also we would include the names in the episode credits. In these times when so many events have been occuring it is extremely important to provoke awareness so we can somehow help citizens prepare.
