The Story of Tsoe

To begin with of course, the whole thing really came about as a chance, a lucky conspiracy of fate.  Not only being a Tibetan but as an Wildlife enthusiast and filmmaker, I was quite passionate having to do something about raising awareness of the indiscriminate mass slaughter taking place of the endangered antelope in the heartland of Tibet.

The only resource was that I was a filmmaker and a Tibetan with friends and relations in that part of the world.  That’s there halfway, but for the important other half; I had no idea how to raise the important funding for it to happen and didn’t have enough myself.   But true to the nature of fate, calls for application for the first Galen Rowell Fund were being invited.  I applied and was sent a cheque for $4500 with words of encouragement.  And that’s how it started - a task not without its peculiar challenges as I was to find out.

Majority of the filming has been completed; aside from the initial grant it ha been completely self-funded.  At this stage bit more filming in Tibet and India and US is required before proceeding with the post-production process.

I would love to hear from anyone is interested to back the film financially and can be reached at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

The trailer for ‘The Story of Tsoe’ can be found at this link and you can read about my trip in word press called ‘The story of Tsoe – Wild Tibet’ and another interesting article I translated called, ‘For Children – The Wildlife of Changtang’

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
