I have been making amateur wildlife films since 2006 and have made four main films to date, each taking two years to produce. Most of the film work is done in my local area, Roslin Glen but also more widely in the Lothian counties. The Esk Valley river system, which forms a green corridor through Midlothian, beside Edinburgh, in southeast Scotland.
My films are made for the general public, to show wildlife in their local environment and to educate and entertain. To this end I have given talks and shown these films to numerous local and national clubs and societies, including to RSPB and Scottish Ornithologists Club meetings. Documentary making is an enjoyable challenge and affords a much greater appreciation of the work of the professionals. Read more...

I have been passionate about Tigers and Wildlife since childhood and have been blessed to have many unique encounters with wild tigers. I believe Wildlife photography is a lifelong learning and I started this journey 19 years back. The fast vanishing wilderness areas and wildlife led me to start a platform for conservation advocacy where people can discuss various conservation issues and raise their voice. This gave birth to ‘IndiaWilds' Forum in 2008 (www.indiawilds.com/forums ). I also write a monthly newsletter discussing different conservation issues which is mailed to over 10,000 people.
In the recent years, to tap the power of films as a medium in espousing the cause of conservation, I have dived deep into the world of wildlife films. My first film ‘A Call in the Rainforest' documented the plight of the endangered Lion-tailed Macaques. Read more...
