Workshop registration opens next week
There are only a small number of places in the world that offer training in wildlife filmmaking because it is so specialised. Wildscreen offers courses at a reduced rate compared with the cost of commercial training events.
Only registered Festival delegates can attend and each workshop is designed to give a comprehensive overview of the subject. Workshop attendance involves modest charges in addition to the delegate registration fee and prices start from £35. The opening of workshop registration will be announced shortly. The training workshop programme is sponsored by South West RDA.
Highlights of the workshop programme will include: Pitching to Commissioners: Bring along your film proposals, pitch them to Ellen Windemuth, CEO, Off the Fence and Steve Greenwood, Editor of BBC Natural World and sharpen your pitching skills with their feedback; More Bang for your Buck - International Distribution: the ultimate guide to funding, making and selling your programme to the international market; Scriptwriting for Beginners: for newcomers and improvers who want to learn how to write effectively and clearly.
