IWFF Final Call For Entries

33rd Annual International Wildlife Film Festival
May 8-15, 2010 - Missoula, Montana

Late Deadline: February 9 with 20% late fee

To Enter or for Entry Details: www.wildlifefilms.org/festivals/iwff/entry.html

Films eligible for the IWFF's juried competition should have a central focus on non-domesticated wildlife species and habitats. Content should relate either singly or in combination with wildlife, habitat, conservation, ecology, the environment, research management, environmental issues, conservation issues, plants and/or people's interactions with wildlife.

On the eve of the 33rd annual, International Wildlife Film Festival, this year's festival promises to be one of the most important, with a special focus on the "Message," of Media and the "Future" of Wildlife Filmmaking & "Wildlife Survival" in the 21st Century.

But it all begins with the films - the centerpiece of IWFF and we are now in the final stages of the Call for Entries. The regular deadline is January 30th, the late deadline is February 9th.

Preliminary Judging begins in February followed by Final Judging in late March. Once Final Judging is complete, notifications will go out and we begin final preparations for a very special event including the Tarkio Retreat, with a focus on the International Illegal Wildlife Trade. This is Wednesday, May 12th. Later in the week, we'll devote a good bit of attention to the Internet - distribution, programming, funding, social networking to promote wildlife issues and of course technology, as cutting edge as it comes.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.

Get free downloads for Internet Explorer 7, including recommended updates as they become available. To download Internet Explorer 7 in the language of your choice, please visit the Internet Explorer 7 worldwide page.
